The previously undefeated Team GB's women's rugby sevens side were humbled 33-10 by Canada (right) in the bronze medal match having lost the semi-final to New Zealand earlier in the day.
The players looked dejected as they walked off the pitch clutching each other in despair (left). But the women are far from your stereotypical rugby players as it is possible to be - and there are certainly no cauliflower ears in sight. They even posed naked for Women's Health magazine (inset) before the games to celebrate their different physiques.
