Sir Bradley Wiggins wins his FIFTH gold and becomes Britain's most decorated Olympian with eight medals after leading pursuit team to nailbiting win over Australia and smashing own record

Sir Bradley Wiggins has become Britain's most decorated Olympian of all time after winning gold in the men's team pursuit. 


The hero cyclist led Team GB to victory over Australia in the final tonight and took home his eighth Olympic medal - one more than fellow cyclist Sir Chris Hoy. Team GB had earlier smashed their own world record in the heats with a time of 3:50.570 - a second faster than they were in London in 2012.
