What DO you wear when you're the bride at 51? This author who'd already had a big white wedding faced a dilemma when her new love unexpectedly proposed

Author Raffaella Barker became a bride-to-be again aged 51. But she struggled to find the perfect dress, with most aimed at younger women. 


Raffaella tried on (from left to right) a traditional white gown; a white trouser suit; a Princess dress; and a red evening dress. She eventually chose a cream, crocheted lace dress by Alberta Ferretti (pictured far right).
