Horrifying X-ray shows a man stabbed in the eye with a 10-inch knife which pierces his BRAIN but miraculously he survives - and even keeps his sight

Alberto Palacio Vizcaino, 22, was stabbed in the eye in Soledad, Colombia. Incredibly, surgeons were able to remove the blade which had pierced his skull by more than 3 inches (right). 


Scans (left) revealed the 10-inch blade had lodged into his eye-socket, with the tip reaching his brain. Incredibly, he survived and surgeons operated to carefully remove the blade, even saving 90 per cent of his sight in his left eye. He told local media: 'I tried to take the blade out myself, but I couldn't, it was too tightly wedged in. I see really clear, I don't feel anything.'
