Student will graduate 4 inches TALLER than when she started the course after surgery to straighten her curved spine

Danielle Foster, 25, from London, was diagnosed with scoliosis when she was 16 and X-rays (pictured top middle) revealed her spine was at a 40 degree angle.

She initially treated it with physiotherapy but it became progressively worse and causing her spine to bend at a 80 degree curve. After graduating in law from Bournemouth University (left) she decided to have surgery, inserting metal rods (bottom middle) to straighten it. She now towers over her mother (right) after gaining 10cms and is set to receive her masters degree in November.
