Dreams of my family kept me alive in shark infested seas... for 29 hours: He tumbled into the ocean on a holiday cruise - and after being attacked by sharks, jellyfish and seagulls, only one thought helped him survive
Father-of-two BRETT ARCHIBALD describes how, during a boat trip off Indonesia with friends, he fell overboard into the ocean in the dark without a life jacket.
Brett had drifted approximately 50 nautical miles in the open water of the Mentawai Strait. He was found a long way out from the coast of the island of Sipura. Coming so close to death made Brett re-address his priorities - which are now faith, family and friends. Pictured, Brett being towed to the Barrenjoey boat (main) and reunited with wife Anita and children Jamie and Zara (inset).
