How smug mums judged me for having my children by caesarean and said it was a 'shame' they weren't born naturally, by Ben Fogle's wife
Marina Fogle (left) has revealed that she suffered 'judgment' from 'smug' mothers after her son was delivered by caesarean section.
Her husband, the adventurer Ben Fogle, also said that some people suggested his wife was 'a slight failure' for not having a natural birth. Mrs Fogle, who has two children Ludo, seven, and Iona, five, (right) said thought mothers and pregnant women can get very 'competitive' which can lead to a 'really b****y' situation'. Mrs Fogle, 37, was speaking at Henley Literary Festival, which is sponsored by the Daily Mail, about her book The Bump Class which she co-authored with her sister Dr Chiara Hunt. Interviewing his wife and sister-in-law was Mr Fogle who asked his wife if she felt any differently about her children because they were both delivered through c-section.
