Inside Kate's £62,000 Canada wardrobe! How designer dresses, opulent jewellery and 14 outfit changes made the Duchess of Cambridge's latest tour her most expensive yet

Whilst she has long favoured trusty high street brands such as Zara, Hobbs and Whistles, the Duchess of Cambridge has been plumping for outfits by London's most esteemed designers - and experts say she is looking more glamorous than ever before, even crediting her style as having Hollywood flair.

In fact, thanks to her exquisite Jenny Packham, Preen and D&G dresses, as well as her dazzling designer jewels, Kate has curated her most expensive wardrobe to date. Never less than appropriately dressed, the trip has seen her take more style risks, albeit without compromising the conservative appearance expected of a senior royal. Left to right: Kate dons a preppy look for a visit to Graham Island; wearing Alexander McQueen in Vancouver; a crimson gown from Preen for an historic reconciliation ceremony with Canadian First Nations groups; a fashion-forward Dolce & Gabbana dress in Kelowna; and an otherwise unremarkable outfit on their penultimate day totals a staggering £26,897.59 thanks to the addition of an Asprey Woodland Charms necklace.
