The British mother arrested after being accused of abandoning her seven-year-old son alone in their hotel room in Majorca so she could go partying

Eleanor Jones, 25, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, left, was held after returning at breakfast time following a night out to find police waiting for her at Hotel Canarios Park, right, on the island of Majorca. 


Hotel staff called the police after discovering the son crying and complaining he had been left alone after by his mother, a restaurant manager. However, Jones walked free from court and is understood to have been given a suspended sentence, while the child was placed with social services for at least two days.
