Looking a bit green around the gills there Kate! Duchess catches a salmon but looks squeamish picking it up on a boat trip in Canada - after wearing a scarf made of otter fur presented to her by locals
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to a 25ft war canoe to announce their arrival in a remote archipelago off the west coast of Canada today.
Paddling to the beat of a pacer's drum, the royal couple went to Haida Gwaii, formerly the Queen Charlotte Islands, in British Columbia on the penultimate day of their eight-day tour of Canada. Accompanied by warrior paddlers, community leaders, and Scotland Yard bodyguards, William and Kate - who was dressed in a Smythe jacket, blouse by Somerset by Temperley, and Zara jeans - made their way through the crystal clear waters of the Kayilnagaay to a beach and heritage centre at Skidegate on Graham Island. Upon their arrival at the island, William bravely gave a short, but perfectly executed, address in the native tongue. Their action-packed day has seen them enjoy a cultural performance from local children and take to the waters again for a fishing trip - during which Kate could be seen squealing as she picked up a fish by the gulls. They have also been gifted traditional raven's tail scarves trimmed with sea otter fur
