Father, 43, tells jury how he killed his partner by throwing a £1,000 imitation Faberge egg at her head after she told him she had been with another man

Paul Hemming, 43, (inset bottom) said he threw an imitation Feberge egg (inset top) at wife Natalie (left and right), 31, during an argument at the family home in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, on May 1.

The £1,000 jade egg, which was heavy 'like a rock', struck Mrs Hemming on the head and she fell on to the coffee table, Luton Crown Court heard. Hemming has admitted manslaughter but denies murder. The trial continues.
