Nigeria’s Gloo.ng launches online butchery service


Gloo.ng, a Nigerian online supermarket which describes itself as the biggest in Africa, has launched its online butchery service, offering customers fresh and quality meat at affordable prices.

The startup first announced the service back in January when it raised an undisclosed amount of funds from an angel investor.
The startup has now been launched the service, known as GlooButchery, offering customers a variety of meat – goat, pork, chicken, et al, to choose from. All they need do is make a selection and order, and they get delivered to their doorsteps.
The online butchery service will save customers irreplaceable time, unnecessary stress and valuable money. Above all, customers get quality, healthy fresh meat produce.

This new service, and the three others that’ll be launched later this year, will allow the startup achieve net revenue accounting rate of return (ARR) of ₦400 million and four continuous quarters of Cash Flow Break-even.
