Oprah Winfrey reveals the ONE THING she wishes fans knew before meeting her... and why she believes so strongly in the new female empowerment movement

From humble beginnings she's managed to carve out an enviable career and even gaining illustrious title of entertainment 'icon.'
But despite her near legendary status, Oprah Winfrey, 64, says she's still the same person she was when she first hit TV screens.

Speaking to Sunday Life while promoting new film A Wrinkle In Time, the former talk show host said she's still the same person she always was.
'I want everyone to know that I'm the same person you saw on TV,' Oprah, who hosted The Oprah Winfrey show from 1986 to 2011, said.
The iconic host, who has since launched her her network, OWN, adding: 'You don't have to worry about tiptoeing around me or acting in any special way.'
With her signature humility, Oprah got nostalgic about meeting her own idol, Diana Ross, saying she felt the same way the woman dubbed: the 'Queen of Motown.'
