Tennis legend Roger Federer will not be playing at the French Open in June later this year.

The former world number 1 disclosed that he will also miss other tournaments in the year due to a right knee injury.

Novak Djokovic admitted on Sunday he will miss injured rival Roger Federer as he prepares to begin his charge for the Dubai Championships.

The Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF), has expressed optimism of picking 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games tickets at the Africa Taekwondo Qualification Tournament slated for Rabat, Morocco.

Google Maps marks 15 year milestone with new features

Google Maps marked 15 years on the road Thursday with the rollout of new features for the popular mobile app which has helped move navigation into the digital age.

The tech giant is marking the occasion with a new look and product updates, vice president of product Dane Glasgow said in a blog post. Google has dominated the market for navigation apps in recent years but the latest updates appear aimed at staying ahead of challengers including from Apple, which recently revamped its own maps application.

On February 1, the Facebook-owned messaging platform ended support for smartphones running operating systems older than Android 2.3.7 and iOS version 8.

Since the old operating systems don't receive new security updates from Google and Apple respectively, user data privacy is at risk, so WhatsApp recommends using devices with the latest operating system installed.
