DHL to invest 17 million euros in sub-Saharan Africa

DHL, a global market leader in the logistics industry with a strong presence in Africa, has announced a planned investment of over €17million in sub-Saharan Africa.
The planned investment is aimed at upgrading its facilities and shipment handling systems throughout the region.
Frank Appel, CEO of Deutsche Post DHL Group said,

We have established world-class facilities in Sub-Saharan Africa to support our global network, and I am delighted to witness first-hand the sustained efforts of our employees to deliver best-in-class services. This planned investment in sub-Saharan Africa follows its €30.5million investment in South Africa in October 2014.
