She gave an impressively quickfire rendition of Nicki Minaj's hit Monster during the latest edition of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.
And Adele received some high praise from the rapper herself on Thursday as she took to Twitter clearly impressed by the Brit star's ability to spit rhymes.
Minaj, 33, first tweeted: 'Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!! #Adele #Monster the attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #Ok #Iconic'
Shortly after she wrote: 'Adele is mad ratchet. I can't take her #UK #WutsGood'
Minaj shared a clip of the moment on her Instagram, much to the delight of her fans, with one user saying 'I could watch this forever'
Another follower commented 'This was my favorite part'.
Adele's rendition of Monster was word perfect and she certainly had the attitude to accompany her rapping.
Before her impromptu performance Corden, 37, said: 'I heard a rumor that you - which may be surprising to some fans -are quite the rapper,'
During the feature - which aired on Corden's The Late Late Show on Wednesday Adele also revealed that the first heartbreak she ever experienced was the moment Geri Halliwell left nineties pop band The Spice Girls.
