Benefits mother-of-eight says her £500 a week handouts aren't enough to pay rent on the four-bedroom home she demanded from the local council

Jobless single mother Marie Buchan caused controversy last year by insisting she needed a bigger home so she could have a bedroom to herself. 

But she's now facing eviction from the four-bedroom property in Birmingham (inset) after running up £4,000 debts for unpaid rent with her local housing association. 

The 33-year-old, who has previously claimed she wants more children, blames the government's benefits cap for her situation.
