Spring in her step: Kate dons gingham dress to visit mentoring project in London with William - as royals spend a second day on official duties

After packing in four engagements yesterday the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (together, inset) were back on duty for a visit to XLP mentoring project for young people in Barbican, London. 

XLP works in more than 75 schools in London to help young people who are facing emotional, behavioural and relational challenges. 

Kate donned a red and white gingham dress by Kensington-based designer Eponine.
