She's bemoaned doctors' orders to ban pizza from her diet during her North American tour.
But Adele didn't even look like she could benefit from the hot Stateside weather on Friday, when she went about town in knitwear and slouchy harem trousers.
The British musician, 28, ignored the heat during an outing in Santa Monica after telling a crowd in the Californian city that cooked tomatoes have been affecting her vocals.
'I can't eat pizza anymore guys,' The Daily Star reports that she told the crowd. 'How bad is that?'
'Because it's got cooked tomatoes on it which are bad for your throat and give you acid reflux. How bad is that, that I can't eat pizza, can you get over that?'
'I'm in America and I can't eat pizza no more. It's worse than Romeo And Juliet! If only Shakespeare was alive, he could write about it!'
