'Her hallucinations were her friends': Mom of Slender Man 'stabber' says her daughter 'hid' her schizophrenia for years in her first interview since the 2014 attack

Angie Geyser (main), mother of attempted murder suspect Morgan Geyser, 14 (inset), said her daughter made 'a conscious effort to hide her symptoms from us because they were her friends'. 


Morgan Geyser her friend and Anissa Weier, now 14, are being tried as adults for attempted first-degree intentional homicide in the May 2014 attack on classmate Payton Leutner, who the two allegedly stabbed 19 times to appease a fictional online demon called Slender Man (right). Mrs Geyser is pushing for her daughter to be tried as a juvenile and be released when she is 18. 'Some of the comments on stories say: ''Adult crime, adult time.'' That's B.S. These are children,' she said.
